Province IX Ride into the Sonoran Desert

As we enter 2010, the next Province IX Annual Meeting draws near. Brothers will be traveling to a city where hi-tech astronomy merges with ancient Native American rites... and where the sun shines 350 days of the year.  Known for it's aerospace & missile production and high technology, Tucson is also the oldest inhabited settlement in the United States.

Province IX Charges into San Diego!!    

After a successful G.C.C. brothers headed to San Diego for the 2009 Interim Assembly. 

The last time the province visited San Diego was in 2005. The assembly was attended by

68 brothers, making it the largest attended Province IX assembly on record (at the time).

Looking back, some may consider this assembly one of the milestones that launched the

province to where it is now. Here's why...

     - This was the first assembly attended by more than 50 brothers. (Attendance has not

       dropped below 50 since)

     - The Community Service Award made their debut

     - The Province IX Poker Tournament got its start at this assembly.

     - The dinner banquet slide show was introduced at this assembly.

     - Supervisor Cameron "Radar" Van Dyke officially recognized the province for

        100% submission of the Progress Report Form for two straight years.

Province IX Travels to Florida    

Brothers united in Clearwater Beach for the 54th Grand Council Convention.  A huge congratulations to Brother Eric Gupta (Epsilon Gamma GCD) for being elected Grand Counselor!

Province IX Expands   

Province IX welcomed a new collegiate chapter... Epsilon Iota.  The Epsilon Iota chapter was installed on Saturday June 27, 2009 by Grand Regent Lawrence Brown. The initiation ceremony was held at 2:00pm, and the chartering ceremony was held at 6:00pm.

Province IX Storms Las Vegas!!    

Over 300 brothers reunited in Las Vegas for the annual assembly. 

Adventures in Albuquerque  (September 19-20, 2008)  

As the resolutions show, the interim assembly was very successful. Gamma Rho promised brothers an adventurous weekend and delivered.

Beta Gamma Golf Tournament  (March 27, 2008)  

Beta Gamma hosted their first annual golf tournament at the Presidio Golf Course and Country Club. All brothers were welcomed and proceeds went to the American Heart Association.

APhA Convention - Field Authentic Restaurant  (March 14, 2008)  

Delta Phi graciously arranged a reunion for brothers attending the annual APhA Meeting & Convention in San Diego. Brothers from across the nation were treated to a gathering at Field Authentic Irish Pub & Restaurant, also known as the place to be for the Padres' postgame parties.

Province IX Annual Assembly  (February 29 - March 1, 2008)  

This year's annual assembly was held in Stockton, CA.  New officers were elected and, due to popular demand, the province returned to Moore's Riverboat for the assembly closing banquet.   Meeting Highlights 

ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting  (December 2-6, 2007)  

Viva Las Vegas! Brothers traveled to Las Vegas to attend the meeting and reunite with fellow brothers.

Province IX Interim Assembly  (September 28-29, 2007)  

Brothers traveled to Glendale to celebrate the continued growth of Province IX. It was the largest attended interim assembly on record.   Meeting Highlights

53rd Grand Council Convention  (August 7-11, 2007)  

Many braved the long journey to Boston.

Epsilon Gamma Chartering  (July 28, 2007)  

Brothers took a break from their busy schedules to welcome the newest chapter, Epsilon Gamma.  Brothers from across the province attended the chartering, performed by Past Grand Regent Craig Johnston.

APhA Convention - Kappa Psi Reception  (March 17, 2007)  

Brothers took a break from the convention and reunited in Atlanta, GA in the Montreal/Vancouver/Cairo room at the Hyatt Regency.

APhA Convention - Beta Gamma Party, Kappa Psi Reception  (Mar 17-18, 2006)

This year's annual APhA convention brought brothers to San Francisco, CA.  Brothers were invited to join Province IX at a party hosted by Beta Gamma at Suite 181. Brothers then reunited at the Kappa Psi reception the next night at the Hilton Hotel.

ASHP Convention - Kappa Psi Reception  (December 5, 2005)  

Those attending the ASHP Midyear Meeting in Las Vegas met at Jimmy Buffet's Margarittaville at the Flamingo Hotel for the Kappa Psi reception.

Province IX Interim Assembly  (October 7-8, 2005)

Delta Sigma 5-Year Anniversary  (September 10, 2005)  

Brothers from around the province helped Delta Sigma celebrate a milestone. The banquet was held at the Arrowhead Country Club.

52nd Grand Council Convention  (August 9-13, 2005)  

30+ brothers traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to attend the 53rd G.C.C.   GCC Highlights

Delta Tau Party  (May 4, 2005)  

Brothers from around the province traveled to Las Vegas to visit Delta Tau and help build a scrapbook.  A long day's work was rewarded with dinner "on the town."
