Chapter History:

The Delta Tau Chapter was chartered in Las Vegas on January 10, 2003 by

Grand Regent Craig Johnston. The reception was held at the Monte Carlo Casino &

Resort, where keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Magarian (Past Executive Director),

spoke on "Building a Better Brother."

In 2004, the Chapter was the first chapter engraved on Province IX's perpetual

Traveler's Plaque.

In October 2005, the chapter doubled in size as 45 new brothers were initiated.

(They were later nationally recognized for being among the top 10 recruiting chapters.)

Just five months later, the Chapter hosted a province assembly to remember.  It was

the first assembly held in Las Vegas. The province was honored to have visiting

brothers from across the nation.

In the fall of 2006, Dr. Allison Welder was recognized nationally for her

outstanding job as GCD.  In 2007, brothers extended their chapter to the South

Jordan campus of USN.

Delta Tau made province history when hosting the 2009 Spring Assembly. Over

300 brothers attended the assembly making it the largest attended assembly in province

history. Despite the many temptations to be elsewhere, brothers packed the meeting

hall - standing room only.

Favorite Chapter Activities:

Sunset Barbeque

Brothers regularly enjoy barbeques at Sunset Park.

Dinner Banquet

Brothers dress to impress and meet for dinner.

Night on the Strip

A trip to the Strip is the perfect bonding opportunity for brothers after a busy summer.
