New Executive Committee:

Grand Regent: Dr. E. Ben Welch

Grand Vice Regent: Dr. Kali Weaver

Grand Counselor: Dr. Eric Gupta

Grand Historian: Mr. Michael D. Cournoyer

Grand Ritualist: Dr. Matthew Lacroix

Graduate Member-at-Large: Dr. Latha Radhakrishnan

Collegiate Member-at-Large: Ms. Kathryn Kropp

Awards:

**Province IX was recognized as the only Province to have 100% of ALL chapters submit their Chapter Progress Reports on time!** 
 

• Delta Sigma rated 8^th in the Top Ten Collegiate Chapters for 2008-09
• Delta Sigma awarded as the Top Collegiate Chapter by Province for 2008-09
• Arizona Grad rated 6^th in the Top Ten Graduate Chapters for 2008-09
• Arizona Grad received the Most Improved Graduate Chapter
• Grand Council Deputy Award went to Brother Craig Johnston
• Grand Council Deputy Certificate of Excellence was awarded to Brother Eric Gupta

Legislation (summary of passed legislation):

By-Law I, Sec. 6: Collegiate/Graduate chapters may nominate for Honorary Membership in Kappa Psi any person who has contributed to the Pharmaceutical Profession 
 

By-Law II, Sec. 3: Graduate Chapter dues increased to $150 annually. 
 

By-Law II, Sec. 4: Graduate Member voluntary dues increased to $50 annually. 
 

By-Law IV, Sec. 1: Applications for Chartering/Reinstating a Chapter must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the start of the GCC. 
 

By-Law IV, Sec. 4: New Chapters must pay in full the cost for the creation and shipment of the Charter. 
 

By-Law VIII, Sec. 2: The Executive Director charged with reporting on financial expenditures incurred by the Grand Council, its Officers, and Committees. 
 

By-Law VIII, Sec. 3:  The Executive Director required to furnish $100,000 bond. 
 

By-Law VIII, Sec. 6: The Executive Director shall be provided sufficient funds to carry on the work of said office.

Extracurricular Achievements:

• Epsilon Gamma and Gamma Nu teamed up to win the Beach Volleyball Tournament
• Delta Sigma Placed 3^rd overall in the Beach Volleyball Tournament
• Brothers Amal Thakarsey (Gamma Nu) and Ryan Moore (Arizona Grad) won the sports trivia contest.
• Robert Mancini helped bring Province X home the win in the Pharmacy Pheud.
