Concerns:
Item 1. "Analysis of cost effectiveness of
advertising in the MASK"
The cost beginning next year will be approximately $9,000 per issue
of 4000 copies. This includes printing, mailing, honorarium, and
expenses. Each magazine will cost $ 2.25 per issue (7.0 cents/page).
Our cost would be $1,685 to $2,250 per page of advertising. If we
can increase circulation it will cost only $450.00 per additional
1000 copies above 4,000 and advertisers might be less reluctant to
use our medium for advertising at that price.
Item 2. "Cost analysis of printing the
present press run of 4000 versus increasing the press run and
circulation to 8000 copies."
Maury Boyd & Associates (present printer) gave a bid of $8,241 for
4000 copies and $9,985 for 8000 copies. Additional 1000 copies were
$249 above 4000 copies. United Litho does not print runs of
less that 8000. Their bid was $9878 for 8000 copies and $193 for
each additional 1000 copies above 8000.
Item 3. "Important information in the MASK
including but not limited to new Brother lists, attendee lists for
GCC, etc."
New brothers for 2004 to 2005, donors list for 2004 to 2005,
international chapter awards for 2005, Grand Council Scholarship
Certificate winners for 2004 to 2005, and Grand Council Scholarship
Key recipients for 2005 will be printed in the summer 2005 issue.
Item 4 "Timelines and reminders"
Numerous personal phone calls for specific requests. When I received
responses I tried to comply and answer each request. I intend to
keep this form of requests via email the same in the future.
